CAPVANE Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is a company registered in England & Wales. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use our website or engage us for services, how we use it, and the rights you have under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect
We only collect what we need to do the job:
- Contact details you give us, name, email, phone, business name.
- Project information, brief, content, images and any files you share with us.
- Billing details for invoicing and Direct Debit for the maintenance plan.
- Basic website analytics, pages visited, device type and country (no personal identifiers).
Why we use it
- To respond to enquiries and quote for work (legitimate interest).
- To deliver and maintain the website you've paid for (contract).
- To send invoices and keep accounting records (legal obligation).
- To improve our site and understand which pages are useful (legitimate interest).
Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. We share it only with trusted providers we need to run the business, our email provider, hosting provider, payment processor and accountant. All are UK or EU based, or covered by appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
Enquiries: 12 months if you don't become a client. Client records: 7 years after the end of our engagement, in line with HMRC requirements. Analytics data: 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or export your data at any time. You can also object to how we use it or lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). Email us and we'll respond within 30 days.

If we make material changes we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, get in touch directly.
